Coldplay - Viva la Vida

So this is for the new Coldplay album coming out called Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. This isn't an album review because I haven't actually listened to the album yet. But this song you will probably hear on the radio for the next month or so constantly. It's pretty decent contrary to what you might've heard. I did NOT include a download link for the original track simply because it'll probably get taken off faster than you can get to it. So I'll just include a sample in the player for you to get a taste of what Coldplay has in store. Also included are two remixes of two tracks in the album. First is by Telemitry of Viva la Vida and the second one is by the Cryptonites of Violet Hill. They're both pretty good remixes of Coldplay. The album comes out on June 17th in North America, so make sure you check it out. Buy it links are at the end of the post.

I've listened to the entire
album it's been leaked out for a
while and I've had it on my ipod
for about a week and a half now
and I have to say that though this was a great effort it certainly isn't the best.

There are tracks on the album that would challenge all their previous efforts and give them a new benchmark such as "Lovers in Japan", which I believe is the best of the whole album.

Viva La Vida is a new frontier for Coldplay and offers a new chapter for the band I've been following them scince I heard "Yellow", a long time ago and this album is a more downbeat, almost depressing sound. I don't dislike it, I just believe there has been better efforts in the past.
