The Banshee, a band from Genova, Italy seems to be hitting it pretty big. Probably not as big over here as it is in the UK, though nothing ever hits it big here over the Atlantic unless it's half naked or heavily produced. If I had to give this band a genre it'd probably be around indie post-punk but it's just not the same. It could be the Italian influence. It's a great combination of sounds though and different from what we're used to. I put the original track first, it strangely reminds me of Minibosses with the unique bass sound, but the vocal brings it back into the indie world. The Cool Kids Can't Die remix of their song is a great electronic version of the song. There's also another remix I didn't include by Overmood.

Their second album "Your Nice Habits" is set to be released September 2008. You can get their new EP "Kicks Up" at the iTunes store.
