Repost: MSTRKRFT Remixes Pt. 1

In a way this is a repost of the old series, but I'm actually going to re-write most of it. I highly respect MSTRKRFT as they're so important to both the remix and electronic scenes. This is going to be a three part series as it was before, and I'll have a little gift for you at the end of the series if it makes it that far. MSTRKRFT does not have a remix compilation or album, which is why I've decided to post some tracks. Though you can try finding their tracks at Discogs. There are no zShare links for this series due to the number of tracks. If you are a label or artist and want me to remove a track, please email me.

In the actual posts I'm only going to post the tracks I liked and try to line them up as best as I can in chronological order. I'll start off with MSTRKRFT's first remix track of Panthers. It's rather a lighter version of MSTRKRFT, they've refined and even intensified the sound now. I love the sound to their remix of Juliette and the Licks. Their first big hit in my eyes, who else but Annie. This is where that refined sound starts to really come out. I think I put the next track as number one for 2007, their remix of Metric. The two last tracks actually have very different sounds. Personally I really like The Kills remix, it's what I'd define as electro. And their remix of Buck 65, heavy bass track.

Oh I completely agree. MSTRKRFT's remix of Metric is what got me into remixes in the first place.

@ghostscene
No worries, that is already on the list for the next post.
