The end of the MSTRKRFT series. Hope you enjoyed it! I'll start off with the JFK remix of Kid Sister. I've been looking for this track for half a year and basically gave up. It has such a strange sound to it, totally works for the track though. Second is one of my favorite of the MSTRKRFT remixes, their remix of NYPC. Not many people seemed to like this one, I can't see why. Another great remix of Bloc Party, I didn't include their first one but it's also one to check out. This has a great dirty synth sound to it, though it does drown out any Bloc Party that previously existed in the track. If you don't check out the Kylie remix I'll have failed blogging altogether. My actual favorite remix of theirs, this is what I DEFINE as MSTRKRFT. Two of their more recent remixes, first of Ayumi Hamasaki. Never really saw that one coming at all. Very dirty once again, they've got their style down perfectly now cause it's not changing as much. And lastly, their remix of Usher. And a little gift for you at the end of the post. It will only be up for a week, so get it while it's there.

I visited MSTRKRFT at amsterdam last week, they did a djset from 3:30 till 5:00. It was madness, everyone climbed on stage with them. One kickass party

If I remember correctly they stated in an interview that they hate playing in Toronto, or they just hate Toronto period. Which is fine, cuz I don't think they are as good as they think they are.
I saw them with Steve Aoki. Nothing spectacular.

Understandable, the demand for electro in my area is slim to none. Really, it's mostly in the west coast, a lot of big US cities, Europe and Australia which is where MSTRKRFT and most electro artists stick to. So I wouldn't blame them for thinking that.
