Well, just watched Soulwax's Part of the Weekend Never Dies. It's kind of a looking into both the life of constantly touring DJs/band as well as the life of the electro hipster/raver that parties 24/7. I definitely couldn't justify living the life for very long consistently, it'll warp the mind. Soulwax, 2 Many DJs, Night Versions, all of them together for Radio Soulwax. Who would've thought a DJ set after a rock show, I'm sure some people were more than excited.

The documentary strangely includes a lot of artists I've come across over the last year or so of music blogging, somewhat of an amalgamation. And even weirder is that it starts out with SO ME with the obviously his art and SoKo doing the introduction. How the hell, SoKo? I still can't believe they play their remixes live. Anyways, if you're an electro rocker, raver, or you simply like Soulwax and electro music, I suggest you watch this DVD. Though those Europeans are a bit more extreme and have more money they're will to spend than us, so it's a tad bit more extravagant. The funniest comment I'd have to say from the documentary is when Nancy Whang describes both Stephen and Dave's DJ movements, "so it's like sine and cosine" which had me laughing pretty hard cause I noticed this with Soulwax and most DJs. Actually that whole segment of interviews around that part of the documentary are good.

Included three Soulwax remixes I haven't posted yet, at least not these versions. I posted The Chemical Brothers track Hey Boy, Hey Girl Soulwax remix before, but this is the one Justice used at Ibiza where the 'superstar DJs' was replaced by '2 many djs'. Secondly, the Soulwax remix of Daft Punk which they used very well in their shows. Lastly is the good quality version of MGMT's Kids which I posted two days ago, thanks phree drugs. I posted the 'Nite Version' which basically I'm guessing is taken from one of their sets.
