Say Cheese

JR

First order of business, this is where I fail as a music blogger. Does anyone know if this Justice remix of Stevie Wonder is real? I've seen it before on Hyperbole, but it was simply a sample. This sounds kind of like it's been looped. Not sure what to say about it, though I'm kind of hoping it's not the actual thing. By the way, I'd like to bring up the Soulwax remix of MGMT again, simply because it's pure awesome.

Alright, it saddens me that my lack of email checking has gotten me behind. I'm not the first to post any of these, one day I'll be able to make the claim though. Jumping back into what electro should be all about, underground dirty synth. My old favorites Cryptonites, Disco Villains, and The Young Punx. Reminds me of the good old days. First is a track I highly recommend, the Cryptonites remix of Futurecop! If you'd like to check out Futurecop!, before I post/obsess about it in the next week. They're electro, so if you like what I post good chance you'll like them. They kind of remind me of Danger except without the French connection. A bit of a more natural feel, the Disco Villains remake of Noise Beat Propaganda. And the last track made me laugh a bit. The Young Punx mash-up of Fake Blood's Mars and Stardust's Music Sounds Better. Thanks guys, that made my night.

Yo, those tracks are killer, but i'm just pointing out how fucking awesome JR's photographs are!!! I am always impressed by the creativity and balls when it comes to his projects. The places he travels and takes photos and the places he posts his EXTREMELY large multi-roll posters never fail to amaze me!

oh damn, I didn't even have it linked to his site. Yeah he is amazing, this was my favorite series by him.
