Alright, this mixtape is awesomely gangsta and straight out of left field with of The Kickdrums and League Crew (Mick Boogie and Terry Urban). I included a playlist file to go with the mixtape now. There's so many great tracks in this mixtape, I can't get enough of it. Lot's of great mash-ups and remixes. This possibly just got me back into hip hop with a touch of electro.
I think I'll only post three tracks from the mix for now, just so you can get a nice taste so you'll check out the whole mixtape as well as Kickdrums. Obviously the tracks are accessible through the mixtape. But I'll post some others later just because. Already got the Left/Right remix of The Ting Tings somewhere on the blog. First is the Kickdrums mash-up of the Black Kids and Lil Wayne. The Lil Wayne part kind of comes towards the end of the Twelves remix of this track, it's short but sweet. Second is the Treasure Fingers remix of Estelle's No Substitute, one of the odd ones out of the tracklist, great song nonetheless. It slightly reminds me of Martin Solveig. Lastly is their mash-up of Kanye West, Justice, and MGMT, probably the BEST track in this mixtape. I listened to it a couple times to take it in fully.

I just finished listening to "Electric Touch," the mashup of MGMT, Justice, and Kanye West. Being a huge fan of all three artists, I guess me liking the song was inevitable. I had previously heard the remix of MGMT's "Electric Feel" by Justice, so I had a slight idea of what to expect. I think the addition of Kanye West to the song adds a great twist though.
I was attracted to this blog by "Electric Touch," but after reading into the blog I discovered the Black Kids collaboration with Lil Wayne in "Not gonna Teach Him." I just recently got into the Black Kids, but "Not Gonna Teach Him" is definitely my favorite track from "Partie Traumatic." I think the remix sounds really cool and I like Lil Wayne's contribution at the end of the song.
