Hype Machine's 2008 Zeitgeist is up! It's been up for 6 days actually, but now that it's fully up I'm excited. For some reason the albums I submitted are backwards, it definitely shows that I marked MGMT at #10. Just because I listed the albums in reverse order doesn't mean they're actually in reverse order of rank! Some gems that I missed and was quite disappointed in myself for were R.E.M.'s Accelerate, M83's Saturdays=Youth, Sigur Ros' Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust, and Fleet Foxes' debut album, not that I'd change my list. Was quite happy to see that MGMT made it to 5 out of 50.

I decided today to clean up my desktop a bit and look at what I found. This track has been sitting in the corner of my desktop since the beginning of December *smacks head*. The Juxx remix of Stardust's one and only track Music Sounds Better With You. I love it. Apologies for missing it in the first place. Build-up is key, love the sound that comes in 1:20, then the track goes epic at 3:30 and on. Second is the Juan MacLean b-live rio mix of The Twelves. Kinda a chillout house track, quite the longer track but good. Last is a club track, the Photomachine bounce mix of Yo Majesty.
