Alt-pop singer Sky Ferreira re-emerged at the end of 2012 with the Ghost EP to signal a new direction in her career. Still can’t get over the fact that CHVRCHES remixed MS MR! I love how they made the song so dancy. Honestly the whole MS MR album is great on its own, but the remix is so on point.

Yeah you got it, the weird melody played in the intro and chorus. I feel like they did it as simple as choosing an untypical chord, and knowing Young Galaxy, I bet they just did it on a Korg. However my knowledge of synthesizers/keyboards is as far as having played a traditional piano… so I really have no idea!

I looked up some of the terms used though… makes me want to buy a synthesizer… a pipe dream.

Nice chilled music! It just interested me (being a synthesizer geek) what weird chord you were talking about? Is it the melody being played in the intro and chorus?
I guess you could make that with many different synthesizers (old ones like jupiter, juno new ones like blofeld and about a thousand virtuel ones), and then using the pitchbender.
