Three Remixes and a Bonus

lastnightsparty

Have three tracks and a bonus today. A guilty pleasure of mine CSS remixed by Midnight Juggernauts. Can't get any better of a combination than that. And it's not the quality of the file, I think the track actually has that muffled sound. Second is the MMMatthias remix of Ratatat. Love the MMMatthias sound, very Euro which makes sense. And last off, straight from UK, the Fake Blood remix of Little Boots. Similar themed sound tracks today; very Euro-esque sounding tracks. The bonus includes my favorite remixer Danger with the remix of SymbolOne. I just can't get enough of that "80's action TV show" sound, I guess thus the tag on the song. Check out Danger's myspace for more details on the track.

Hangover Sundays Deuce

lastnightsparty

Give it up for Miami Horror! Not the first time I've posted them, but I guess I just became more interested in them. Expect an excited post dedicated to them tomorrow. Their great remix of Datarock. It's very Miami Horror anyways, that's the only way I can explain it. Second is the Cut Copy remix of Mercy Arms. Similar sound, electro anyways. A bit of a dirtier track, DIM remix of Midnight Juggernauts.

Midnight Curses

pitchforkmedia

Curses remix of Midnight Juggernauts, it's a great dynamic. I really like the beat in this track, but it could've done without that self plug half way through the song. The Fake Blood remix of Armand Van Helden is great. I wish it was a bit longer though, could've enjoyed another four minutes of that song. Peaches remix of B-52's starts out a bit weird, but gets a lot better into the song. Check it!

Disco In Manhattan

Ready for some disco? I thought all three of these tracks sounded similar, they're upbeat and very noisy. Steve Aoki's remix of Metro Station was so fast, almost had to get up and dance myself. The Fake Blood remix of Dans Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip is a bit lighter, but still has that dirty groove to it. Very Fake Blood. And I'll leave off with the Yuksek & Brodinski remix of The Teenagers. The track is a bit weird, not a huge surprise though cause The Teenagers are kind of weird on their own. They did a pretty good job remixing it though.

3 SPANKIN Remixes

Got 3 remixes for you today. Of course the Midnight Juggernauts remixed by Miami Horror. You'll actually be seeing some more Midnight Juggernauts in the future, I demand it to be so! It's such a cool remix, it has a really retro feel to it. I think I'll have to highly recommend this remix actually. The second remix is of Black Ghosts by Fake Blood. It's got a really dirty electro sound to it, I love it. Actually, you'll also be seeing a lot of Fake Blood as well. This post is full of potential. Lastly, Daft Punk's Da Funk remixed by Casino Inc. Amazingly well done and what I love more is the fact that Casino Inc didn't mess with the baseline, well I guess you wouldn't if you're remixing Daft Punk. Three great remixes, get it! Expect tracks from all these artists in the future.

UNKLE and Siriusmo

lastnightsparty

Firstly, I'd like to mention JUSTICE's crappy new music video for DVNO. Seriously, did you forget the whole reason for making the video? To make the song more awesome! But no, you got all caught up and started ruining the song by adding sound effects? Never mess with the song! Who did it right? Daft Punk's Da Funk music video. The cool little intermediate bits in the video didn't completely screw up the song!

Let's move on, from the post before I posted this week's Essential Mix from BBC Radio 1. This week they featured Adam Freeland, definitely someone worth checking out. More importantly, UNKLE and Siriusmo! Love both tracks, included a remix of UNKLE's Restless by Fake Blood. Check it!
